I have some helpful notes I have put together over the years. Crate training is such a brilliant method of teaching a labradoodle pup where it's safe zone is, how to settle quickly into it's new home and it is also a great way to help with toilet training.

Labradoodle pups are very intelligent and gain a lot from receiving training at a puppy school. The reason why young puppy schools are important are not to do with obedience training, which can be done at any age, but for socialisation. This doesn't actually mean mixing with other dogs but being exposed to different experiences.

 I believe puppy training is also important for owners to gain confidence in what they are doing. Raising a pup is similar to raising a child and having support and repetition of correct behaviour is very important!
And no puppy or dog is the same - different temperaments and personalities require different strategies.
